Cricket Explained Academy emerge Champions of U12 Little Champs Tournament’24

Cricket Explained Academy opting to bat first at Azad Maidan in Mumbai made a total of 126 runs in 30 overs. Cricket Explained Academy at one stage were in deep trouble with scoreboard reading 28/5 however the entire team showed great resistance and superb character to come back in the match. Vedas Ghate at no.7 played a very sensible and crucial innings of 46 runs in 68 balls which included 4 boundaries helping CE reach a respectable total on board. From the opposition team, Kanishk Salunkhe was the pick of the lot taking 3/22 in 6 overs including a maiden.

Youth Cricket Academy in reply were all out for 102 runs in 28.5 overs courtesy a clinical bowling show by Cricket Explained bowlers. Vedas Ghate owned the day with complete all-round dominance as he also took 4 wkts with the ball taking 4/16 in 6 overs while Abhimanyu chipping in with 2 wkts as Cricket Explained Academy won the match by 24 runs.

Vedas Ghate for his all-round heroics was declared ‘man of the match” while Abhimanyu Iyer was declared the ‘best batter of the tournament”. Cricket Explained Academy remained unbeaten throughout the league stage and showed complete dominance in the tournament under the guidance of Head Coach and Founder Hrishikesh Puranik as they emerge Champions of the tournament.
